(Ignore the fire, it is for keeping the LIFE level down.) Deuterium oxide is an isotope of hydrogen, and is a coulorless liquid. (deuterium is a flammable gas). Deuterium oxide also is know as 'Heavy Water' due to its taste. (over 5 tbsp is toxic thoug)

    it is also slightly reactive to neutron radiation, especially compounds like lithium deuteride

    bro, deuterium is the isotope, the oxide is called heavy water because it's literally heavier than water. also it is water, just with denser hydrogen.

    Deuterium oxide also looks like water, as it is clear.

    Deuterium OXIDE is a liquid, while deuterium is a gas. Just wanted to clear that up for people who may not understand.
