    Thanks for the like on my own interceptor class! The reason the lasers clog is bc SHD4 grows into SHD3, then SHD2, and then SHLD. For alternatives that also don't melt under high heat, try SHLD (vulnerable to pressure), INSL (vulnerable to fire), or INST (conducts electricity but stuff touching it will melt).
