    @Misha600 Okay; @Beatless123 There are entire asteroids made of gold in space (check 16 Psyche), also gold is not as formidable as titan or quartz but its good in protecting from acidic environments, so 10 credits would be justified price.

    @3point00 Before the publishing the explanation, I would say that this pricing is used by advanced space-faring civilizations having an access to much more tremendous energy sources than modern humankind has. So antimatter should be reasonably cheaper there. But it's still expensive (compared to another elements) because it's pretty hard to hold it.

    And if we say average life of antimatter is 100, than that would only be 10 thousand dollars for one of the rarest materials in existence.
