    Oh wait if it's 5 bits, chances are it does just take time. Either way, same logic for anything over 31 then.

    Both of you are wrong, that's actually a bit overflow. 4-bit logic can only use numbers 1-15, and since 12 + 13 = 25, it overflowed over and screwed up. Make an 8-bit adder for anything over 15.
