RaconTPT deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen. Its still hydrogen. Deuterium oxide is actually the same composition as water but instead of protium (normal hydrogen) its deuterium (hidrogen with a neutron)

Bigboomstuff: It's actually the deuterium atom takings place of the hydrogen atomS, plural, in a water molecule, since there are two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule (H2O), while the TPT DEUT, or deuterium oxide molecule has one Deuterium atom and one Oxygen atom.
