    Also chernobyl used AZ-5 not SCRAM as SCRAM is manual. It did work as well just the graphite-tipped control rods jammed and accelerated the fission causing waster to boil in the 4000 degree heat and build up pressure causing a meltdown and blowout yielding 60 tons of TNT or that of a tactical nuclear warhead.

    Heat did. it was a blowout and meltdown.

    pressure did build up in the reactor but i dont think heat did
