This shows how water flowing and seeping underground gets into the basement of my house, which is built on a rocky hillside. It was really bad before I had a good pump. I wanted to see how realistic I could make it. Most water enters after rain stops.

Make it rain? No, we won't make normal rain, we'll just spawn a huge wave that will flood everything. +1

Matera_the_Mad: Does the pump run 24/7? I hope you don't want it to flood like the Fuhrerbunker.

Note that, even with the sump pump void pixel removed, the water seeps out again - although not as fast as it comes in. I had horrible flooding before my mason friend made a hole for the pump. It's still damp down there, but I never need wading boots any more.

@lamyipfu The house and landscape are not drawn to scale; I simply recycled my old karst save with a house arbitrarily plopped onto it and tweaked some of the "soil" and stone strata to make it work realistically. I am astounded to find it on FP!!!!!!
