    sunny1saturday: guns work in space they don't need oxygen or an atmosphere for that matter and assuming you are anchored to something so the recoil donesn't screw up your orbital trajectory the gun is even stronger

    The effective range will be greater as there is almost nothing to stop the bullet before the target is reached. In space, it's mostly gravity and extreme distance, plus recoil you must worry about.

    guns work in vacuum, aka space. mythbusters tested it. when you fire a gun in space it pushes you back and pushes the thing you hit too. it doesn't stop, just slows down
