your 4-bit ALU takes up ~3,500 pixels of space and operations take between ~24 and ~70 frames to complete, wheras my 4-bit ALU takes up 4,200 pixels and operations take between ~35 and ~85 frames to complete on it. however, what you didn't take into consideration is that my ALU has 10 different officially supported functions (and technically has 24 functions total, though most are useless) while your ALU only supports 2 functions.
