So I decided that I wanted to create another armoured vehicle. So in addition to my (now kinda obsolete) LAV, I made a tank with a LOT of composite armour, hence the class designation "Heavy Main Battle Tank".

@Beatless123, this thing went through so many different versions that i honestly have no clue how thick that armor is, the only goal i had was to consistantly protect against my own munitions. most tanks i see on powder use lots of different types of composite layers, and i settled for nothing less than six to seven repeated strikes, in the same place. so yeah.

I usually make vehicles in scale, for example 1 pixel = 5 cm. Then everyone can count armor thickness, length and height.
-
Lastly the engine deck. believe it or not, the engine decks of tanks have always been a low priority, and i even gave it better protection that it actually requires. I can guarantee is has more than a centimeter of protection and suggest you use the chairs as a reference in the future :)

Secondly the ammunition. this is a cross section, even i dont know how much ammo you could shove in there. thirdly the weight, a 90 to 100 ton vehicle is completely in the realm of possibility, esspecially considering that over thirty years ago, a high 50 to low 60 ton tank has been accepted into active service.

@Umm, I dont see your point in the lack of ammunition, engine protection and infantry protection. Firstly, any tank without adequate supportis vunerable to infantry, as seen in current warzones such as syria, where everything from t72s to m1a1 abrams and leopard 2a4s are being destroyed by simple shoulder mounted weapons.
-
It also only has a single top mounted MG what makes defending it from ground troops impossible effectively, and the protection under the tank seem lacking aswell.
-
This "tank" is very inpractical and is going to be such a waste in the real world. Why? First of all the height, not to talk about the weight and lack of speed. Now we get to the seeming lack of any shells. And if we look at the engine deck you have like a solid cm of armor, that's it.

And yeah i went overboard with the armor, hahaha. But height and length are sacrifices for protection, and historically speaking, composites like textolite and chobham composites are actually lighter in weight compared to almost all metal armor counterparts with the same volume. @Beatless123

The sawdust and tnt combos kinda act like explosive reactive armor, because the sawdust catches DEST pixels @Nunnhem

oh shit i didnt see those
