There is this weird thing with switches that sometimes makes them unusable, I have recently solved the mechanics of it and will post another save explaining it. Can you guys find how it works as well? (Tip: Think outside the box) GOOD LUCK!

I guess nobody really wanted the reward after all...

I guess you can have some smaller reward for your good participation?

I knew subframe had something to do with this; particle ids, butjust forgot about ids and only knew the scanner

Wow, this explains it exactly how it works! I did come to the exact same conclusion after looking at the assigned particle IDs (After pressing "d" and making sure the infos were toggled). This challenge is officially over since you were perfectly clear and definitly accurate in your words. You therefore can ask for any reward you want. I will be more than happy to help with something.

This subframe type of behaviour has been widely used and documented and can be used to make some amazing electronics. See saves 2028385 and 2232626, which are some great resources about this.

This can be confirmed by activating the existing bars of SWCH with PSCN at the top/right, rather than the bottom. Here, because the particle IDs are in perfect ascending order, the whole bar activates instantly.

Your preexisting bars on the save don't experience this because when saves are opened, particle IDs are allocated from left to right, top to bottom, meaning that your lowest particle ID will be at the top/left of your bars of SWCH, meaning this fast activation won't occur. Similarly, when you draw some SWCH in the INSL boxes and reload the save, their particle IDs will be regenerated and hence share the same property as the other bars.

Since the IDs of those particles may be higher than the particle that activated it, these newly activated SWCH particles will also get a chance to be updated in the same frame (hence the connection to subframe tech), further spreading the activation in a single frame.

Since updates occur from lowest particle ID to the highest, the randomness of the SWCH particles in the slowly drawn tubes means those particles will be updated in a random order. When an activated SWCH is updated, it activates all nearby SWCH.

Your box of TRON at the top right has an interesting effect in that it creates a new particle for the head of each TRON at every frame, messing up the regular particle ordering and giving the 'slowly drawn' SWCH more random particle IDs.
