    And the trick to prevent the game from stalling because too little is in the buffer is to make sure that there's always a bit of occupied buffer. about 30-40%.

    Merlin1846: just hook up a decoder below, and you've got a data buffer! if preferred, add warning sensors on the side, that suspends the encoding.
