    You can use the delay electronic to get rid of most of the bulk of the machine.

    Unless it is possible to find the framerate with a machine, then it maybe is possible.

    Frames are sadly not a constant so you cannot make a machine accurately tell real life time.

    You could simplify it by a lot by replacing the CRAY-INST-SWCH selectors by PSTN, which pushes a conductor forward to select digit. The 7 segment ROM could be made from INST to make it fast. +0
