yay im alive! anyways i made a computer, which is very similar to arK's advanced programmer in his AEC 2 save. instructions on how to use it and the thread are in the save.

LBPHacker: okay, i followed your suggestions and i also added information about the order things happen in the cpu when it encounters an ambiguous instruction (like when an instruction sets some bits and conditionally jumps depending on those bits) to the thread

As a side note, this is relatively tricky to use if you don't know what you're doing exactly and what to expect. I suggest maybe pre-loading the addition demo and explaining how to use the keypad?

Well, since I have an assembler practically ready for my next computer (which is, unlike the assembler, is still in the "trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing" phase), I could wire it up to assemble stuff for this CPU too. I was planning to have it support multiple backends anyway.

unnick: programming is always pain, if you barely understand how it works (as I do), but it is impressive, that you can create some kind of powerful computer here.

Unicellular: probably if you connect a suitable screen to it, but programming for this computer is a pain.
