    Nope thats a PWR, this is a BWR. Hence the name Boiling Water Reactor. You're thinking of a Pressurized Water Reactor.

    unless I'm mistaken, boiling water reactors actually pressurize the water enough to prevent boiling...

    I vote up, it worked fine for me, maybe you guys messed with it then turned it on, and yes this is how it works, my dad teaches me about nucler physics, he is a nuclear engineer and i showed him this,

    wow really the reaction is the uranium when theres pressure it heats up, im majoring in nuclear physics i would know this
