    If the outside element is 20 pixels from the wall or closer, it gets whacked. Anything farther than 20 px is safe.

    Yes, just tested it. The pressure gets transmitted through any elements touching the wall. Put a big block of NSCN on the side and there was a huge pressure pulse.
