I suppose I should have mentioned this before, but I didn't realize how little most people know about dragons. Hard to kill and armored they may be, but they are also extremely flexible. It is possible for a dragon to slither through spaces no wider than its head. The same properties that cause arrows and spears to bounce off their scales make them slippery as well.
