    Entropy is a thermodynamic property measuring the equality of temperature in a system. As heat transfers through a system, entropy increases. Once every part of the system is the same temperature, heat can no longer be transferred, and heat death is achieved. The only way to lower the entropy of a system is to increase the entropy in a different system.
