    Not really immortality, per se; They just reverse their life cycle back to a polyp and start over again. They die in a way, so it's more like infinite rebirth

    It won't take anything as extreme as that. Really the only thing holding us back is the inability to repair the brain. When we find a way around that, it will just be a matter of time and logistics.

    btw i know this is in regards to the save... but i said humans becoming immortal because like cancer cells, we are aggressively competive and will use any means of achieving it, even perfecting the gene-pool to increase a beings resistance. perhaps even creating a species of human without flesh and rather a jelly like substance! idk!
