I may have invented a new form of telescope, here on TPT! This probably wouldn't work in real life though, as telescope apertures should be circular and the prisms have to be square to fit in the telescope accordingly to my TPT telescope.

    I actually have another design in mind that involves a doughnut-shaped parabolic mirror that focuses the light onto a hemispherical mirror, which then passes through a corrective lens and then into the diagonal. It might not work here on TPT, but I'm sure I could get it to work in real life!

    hey this is pretty awesome! i mean, there has to be a reason we don't use this (probably a pain in the ass to focus it and/or grind conical reflectors with enough precision. idk)
