This is an image taken by a probe of the GR-7721 Pulsar, which is located in a dense star cluster. The smaller spheres around it are actually distant (or rather not so distant) stars.

    @The Nik - of course it's fictional, this is just supposed to be a grainy black and white image from some probe.

    What probe? What kind of image is this? If this is not fictional, could you please be more specific?
