How to color a single item realistically. If it is part of a larger scene, copy it to a new save, remove surrounding elements. Proceed as shown here, and then copy and paste it back (removing uncolored instance usually optional). Works for liquids too.

    Yep. :) I would also keep any liquid enclosed, even through a final deco blend, though it's messier, just in case. So much less stressful than PANIC! PAUSE! UNDO! XD

    @Sanpypr0 I like to hedge my bets. My bulky winter clothing can easily unpause it accidentally, or something on my cluttered desk falls.... LOL

    you don't need the frame around it, if you have it paused and use MIX it will work (at least it works for me). +1
