An experimental Stardrive functioning off of the photon/photon interactions that C-5 enhances. If the reaction becomes stable, it can only be stopped by reloading the save. This will no longer work in the next update, and is unstable with jacob1's mod.

I was going to do it yesterday but I was busy. I'm also busy today. The changes are like half done, but I also need to fix another bug that breaks stacked particles in saves

Do you know when a snapshot with the updates will be out? I'd like to see if there's another way to do this... maybe with conv or something

sure. the c-5+phot reaction doesn't create any pressure though, it only happens here because the phot gets infinite velocity.

@jacob1: Ok... It's a shame, but you do what you gotta do - I'll try and see if I can make something similar without NaN.

I'm going to have to fix this bug, sorry. NaN isn't supported. It causes all kinds of different things to happen in different versions. When debugging in official TPT, this entire save literally just disappears, as the NaN expands and destroys every single particle, even solids. I'll see if I can fix the positive/negative pressure difference somehow, but I can't allow C-5 to create NaN pressure

[NOTICE]: Due to a glitch this does not function properly in Jacob1's Mod - velocities are flipped, and vacuum is created instead of pressure.

huh... I just tested it, and for some reason the "polarity" (if that's what it would be called) of the C-5 is flipped. Negative pressure is to the right, and positive to the left - it's supposed to be the other way around. Good find Sanpyper0, I'm going to ask around the forums about this!

also, by the way, the drive doesn't really work very well on Jacob1's mod

@Sanpypr0: True, but there's not much point. One pulse is usually enough to get to NaN velocity, and to TPT, NaN is NaN - going faster would make no difference.

maybe adding ACEL would make it more efficient, ACEL with a high life value can get photons to ridiculous speeds on its own.
