I'd work on it a bit, make it output more cold the hotter they get, all of them reached 1k, and were continueing to climb before I stopped it. To be fair a situation with constant heat of this magnitude would be rare -

Hmm. You can actually make temp capacaters as well using the same design. Once it equalizes out, delete the heating element and it will slowly pull heat from the resistor.
