I got bored and was playing with my old saves using the console to melt things. Ended up trying to see how close i could get metal to its melting point without melting it... I guess this is the answer. It used to be a rectangle. Enjoy!

    Narrowed it down to 1272.99993896484374, seriously, increase the last digit by one after you try this number. The digits after the last one don't seem to matter, so you only need to get down this precise.

    To get to the 999.84 you need to use the PROP tool and set temp 1272.99

    Hey the tempeture where the BMTL Melts is 999.85 and the tempeture where it doesnt melt is 999.84!
