    Oops forgot to specify only the Famicom Disk System had a wavetable sound channel.

    Fun facts about the famicom: it was more advanced than the NES and ran faster with far less slowdown in the games. The 2nd controller had a microphone instead of start and select which could be used in games (like zelda where you can scream into the mic to kill the pols voice enemy). It had an extra wavetable sound channel to play more varied sound effects.
