I have no idea how I've managed to ignore this until now. Turns out that if the tmp of CONV is not 0, it only converts particles whose type equals its tmp. You can basically tell CONV(PSCN) to only convert SPRK and CONV(SPRK) to only convert PSCN.

Thank you LBPHacker! :D I'll have fun playing with this! Also, #LBPhackers "they can't stack themselves:" some particles go through others. That can be used to stack particles id:2143679

Hmm... I didn't know this! That's really helpful, considering that other hacks used to be necessary to have the down-right diagonal bray shooter and other things like that.

@Schmolendevice but since you layer the DMND, does that mean that using this property of CONV still won't reduce the area of subframe tech?

Well, I guess I won't be needing to spam DMND layering anymore. DMND layering which induces "protection" upon elements like DRAY is what gets my current designs to their present compactness. I guess I can do away with them now aside from situations of "protecting" against CRAY(SPRK).

That is really awesome. It can have so many uses i havent thinked of now. Great discovery! I wonder if there is something else hidden by the devepolers.

So still very useful, even if it doesn't stack particles.
