    That's not very compact I'm afraid. Also, there are VERY few effective ways of heating a 3-wide beam, and this is NOT one of them. Removing the middle stream (so you get 2 1-wide beams with a gap between) actually makes it more effective, because the unheated middle stream is cooling the target material.
