  What I meant: The definition of virus is what you were saying. However, many people refer to any kind of infectious disease as a "virus" and this is incorrect. However, calling something Virus because it sounds cooler than Bacteria, Fungus, Prion, etc. is fine with me.

  I understand, sometimes I feel the same way. Especially when people say something will do something and it doesn't. But in this case, it is just called "Virus" 'cause I think it sounds cooler.

  Nope. 'Virus' refers to a specific class of non-living organic pathogen, consisting solely of DNA and a protein coat or shell. Describing this as a virus is like calling the Space Shuttle a seagull. Apologies if I sound hostile, I don't intend to - it just really bugs me when people use the wrong names for things.

  Well, virus tends to refer to any type of infectious disease, just because it sounds the coolest. I mean, titling your save "Virus" would probably get more views than one named "Parasitic insect".

  In the interest of clarity, I'd just like to point out that this isn't a virus. HOWEVER, +1 for obscure knowledge, and for the fact that this save isn't a badly-drawn man with PLNT and awful deco all over him.
