    But... NCC-1701 is the number for every enterprise, not just galaxy classes. And Voyager and Defiant have NCC designations???

    Yeah, the designation is the computer's way of classifying ship types, so we call it a Galaxy class, but the computers call it a NCC Cruiser. in fact, the first 'Enterprise' ship was an NX class, the first.

    Isn't that the registration code for ships though? I thought all of them had the NCC. .-. I tried...

    This is really cool! However, the designation is NCC, which is the same as a Galaxy class, even though this clearly isn't. Sorry, i'm a total nerd! xD
