    The Axer class has superior defense of the core then the Conqueror, but it still has minimal turning thrusters, suboptimal defense of the core, and here the bridge is exposed, which means a single shot from a beam weapon or hypersonic cannon could render the Axer disabled, which would be a significant loss.

    The cons are that they're big and make a good target and take a while to recharge the capacitors. They're sationary artillery.

    I used the Proton Cubes of Death as a D.E.P.D.W. (Directed Energy Planetary Defense Weapon). It fires directed energy and is very destructive, can cripple or even destroy some of the biggest ships out there, so just imagine what it does to small craft.
