I've begun making my own 'line' of armoured vehicles, this being the first (so ideas welcome). I have brought in a lot of crew safety features that are quite innovative, including WORKING FPE (fire extinguishers, sorta) and an ammo 'blow-out' system :)

There is also a working FPE system in the crew compartment, essentially a CO2 based fire extinguisher. This system is quite effective at putting out flammable materials inside the compartment and certainly keeps the crew fighting.

If a direct hit occured to either of these areas the crew is protected by armour in every direction of the compartments, with strategic 'blow-out' areas, carrying the explosion ouf of the tank. Even if the ammunition load were to explode, no ammo is to be carried inside the crew compartment and the blow-out system will take the blast away, keeping the tank and crew operational.

Crew Safety Features: The crew compartment is separated from the transmission (explosive occasionally), then engine compartment and the ammo compartment with only small access areas.
