Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO),is a project by the Caltech and MIT, sponsored by the NSF. His main mission is to observe gravitational waves of cosmic origin, predicted in Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, in 1916.

Be good if there were some explanation of the mirrors inside the save. But apart from that, looks awesome and works very well. It's also surprsingly sensitive, but I guess that happens when you have a 4km laser :P
