    no. the Phalanx systems contain a radar inside the white thing on the top. it has 2 antennas. 1 for tracking on for engaging the target it has a computer in it that decides weather the target is a threat and to engage it without command

    The missile launcher wouldnt need the section on top, that's an ammo drum for the cannon.
