    @ATernative I would concur that using DLAY to avoid the ultimately necessary use of PROP would introduce unecessary "delays" in complex electronics where we very much need to update more than 10 particles per frame with one CRAY, say for updating lots of INST + ARAY. Subframe technology cares more about frame-to-frame throughput than gradual accumulations; "instantaneous" manipulations of data.

    You can just change the CRAY itself if you're brave enough.

    @Schmolendevice I mean that you can adjust number of particles by change the DLAY (by PSTN), so you can change it without PROP. I know about tmp, tmp2 and ctype

    Lots more details and subtleties to subframe exist. Also, you can use tmp of CRAY instead of relying on DLAY to set the number of particles. We use it all the time.

    you can use CONV (SPRK) instead of BTRY to get subframe INST
