The Aileron roll and Barrel roll are very different, but are often confused. If you have any questions please ask. (Free to Copy my planes, but please give credit, thx)

+1 because I like when saves clarify something in a way everyone can understand. I have nothing to do with planes, but this makes perfect sense, with the SF64 reference and all.

The confusion mostly comes from the 1997 game "Star Fox 64" In which you are told to "Do a Barrel Roll!" in the tutorial. What you actually do in-game is an Aileron Roll.

It might be hard to grasp bc I'm a bad artist, but think of a barrel roll like this: You are in I very fast car in a cylinder tunnel, and you drive up the wall, onto the ceiling, to the other side, and back on the bottom (While still moving forward of course).
