Delphoxking: really new saves are more likely to appear in front page. So a lot of times new saves will appear there and disappear after a few minutes of not getting votes, or after getting a few downvotes :P. Or they get upvoted and stay for longer.

The front page is typically used as a exhibition area, where you can find the most liked saves. Basically, the community likes saves that end up on the front page as an exhibition.
