    I'm planning to upgrade it when I have time, but so far that hasn't been the case

    make it "over heat" just make it explode when its turning too much or sees something in all directions

    Yeah, you're right. Or, make an electronic system that randomises direction, and how long it travels. And have it transfer the signal by wifi. IDK how to do that though, but good idea!

    a true gamer move would be to randomize the dots at the start so he doesn't follow a defined path
