WIth a little bit of work (seal and INSL the tank, convert the grid to gold) you can run OXYG through it and get to the ignition temp of wood much faster. ;) +1

Perhaps you could use an electric heater instead of gas. Just a thought. +1

LOL I keep puting in OIL with CLONE and I left this thing running hot for 1 hour and when I came back the wood was all burned up and there were only the heating thing left LOL

Interesting how the floor is in direct thermal contact with the furnace, and the glow actually transfers a very small amount of heat.

Incidentally, if you have both the heat and the cooling on it keeps itself at a reasonable temperature.
