i deploy 2k long-range crossbowers and create an 5 entire armies of phalanx to charge all the troops in the island. I send 1K troops to retake the land in the northeastern part which i connected to. -

My royal scientists have found that it is getting colder. I start collect firewood and distribute it to my subjects. I also store food in huge warehouses in case there is a famine due to the cold. -

I setup colonies at 493, 221 and 432, 186. All of my colonies are connected by trade routes, and I build my capital at the site of my Kraken Temple, with the temple at the center. -

Windspren 19th Feb 2016I use wool to insulate homes, and discover that the ground is often warmer than the air! I use a system that pipes an alcohol/water mixture from the ground to a house, keeping it up to 10C warmer than the outside air. I also run a system of pipes through houses that lead to a boiler building at the center of each village, granting me steam heating.
