Simplicity is not the issue; rather lack of it. A much better firework display can be created with far less material. There's too much distraction here. The escaped protons take away from the firework, like city lights dimming the stars. Giving a + for originality anyhow..

I like the idea, but see if you can't make it smaller yet still pack as much of a punch.
