My god, just place the stickman on the bottom and he won't die. Simple. No drop pod needed.

I made another version addressing all your concerns. This one has the air around the stickman much more reasonable, no insulation, and no liquid nitrogen cooling. All science! id:1873559

I also acknowledge that by all means that stickman should be dead! But if stickmen had that low of ambient heat tolerances in good old TPT, they'd die way too quickly. This isn't supposed to be realistic, it's supposed to meet the conditions of the challenge-- and judging by how I've been labeled as having "beaten" the challenge on the original save, I think I've met them. Thanks for all the feedback!

Ambient heat does stuff to stickmen though. Try disturbing the air a significant amount to the left or right of the pod, and watch the stickman die. It happens when red-level heat or higher, roughly, touches him.

All that is needed is a 1 pixel thin line of insl to keep the stickman alive

Irrelevant. A sphere of insl will beat the drop pod challenge.
