@Ferne Solution A: The contest creator should be more accomodating and not use WiFi so that they do not needlessly limit their contestants. Solution B: The contest creator simply says, "Hey, no using WiFi between these temperatures". Easy to do, ensures compatibility, and requires little work on either side. Then again, screw it! Incompatibilities are great! You can hack banks in real life or use EMP bombs, so why not do it here?
@jacob the custom of not using wifi comes from electronic component saves, which people prefer to be quickly compatible with everything, whereas wifi in 2 separate parts will probably collide with one another and require recalibrating.
and im from sweden that is why it says kungzacharias
At this point jacob, it just feels like instead of trying to make the contest harder, it feels more like "ha, you won't be able to solve it"
People keep thinking WIFI is banned, but it isn't. If the contest bans wifi that is just a useless limitation on how you are allowed to solve it. I tried using WIFI to mess with the electronics in the diamond boxes when I was doing it but I couldn't get it working. I still used WIFI for my design itself though (which was copied from the last bank robbery contest I did).
Brilliant. Though the result reminds me of that scene in Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog where he reveals that the bars of gold he teleported ended up as fine gold powder.
You are a fucking genius.
didnt say that in the rules...
