likely the first stop for a new kerbonaut taking their first steps out of the reach of their homeworld, the red planet holds many mysteries. as close to scale as i could get it. enjoy!

    Tylo, definitely. it's only a LIIIITTLE bit smaller than kerbin and has no atmosphere whatsoever. easily the hardest planet to land on (besides the sun when you could still do that)

    ah, so i see you've been playing since beta too :) i must admit i kinda miss the realism of larger landers being ripped apart by their chutes, but the new slow openings are much more realistic. i still tend to use 2 stage parachutes though, one drogue and three main chutes for an apollo style CM. but hey! it's stll easier than landing on vall! almost 1G and no atmosphere! ;-;

    Nice to see a KSP fan here! Remember that on landing you have to use rockets as well as parachutes and you have to stagger the release of you parachutes so not all of them are activated at the same time.
