Since the life of sponge determines how much water is in it, you can edit it to a desired output amount without being infinite like with clone. With conv this can be an effective compact storage device for most non-solids

You might be able to use pistons to push solids away. Also, you can use gel to refill the spng, because gel can hold 100 water, and can transmit it to the spng
