    Not really sure why this is on the front page.. also this isn't time travel. At all. This is the movement of light towards our eye. Just because it's technically something from the past does NOT mean it is time travel. This is light travelling at it's speed towards our planet.

    Not realy Time travel. Just the light which goes in a specific speed, the light which you see is the light from the past, every year in the same speed of light is 1 lightyear, the nearest Sun to ours is ca. 4.5 lightyears awai, so you see ca. 4.5 years into the past, because the light can not travel faster than itself can. Time travel in lightspeed is possible, but humans could only reach 90% of it. MORE? Just tell dude XD

    No, being a galaxy, Andromeda can't have ceased to exist in the roughly 2.5 million years it takes for its light to reach us.
