I noticed while playing around with liquids; When the life of mercury is raised [due to spark], it falls slower. (it might also become a temporary solid, though I doubt this)

MERC does not become soldid, it transforms into SPRK (with ctype MERC) , SPRK IS solid and converts into it's CTYPE when life end, so if you open console and type !set ctype sprk dmnd the spark will make DMND
