Yea i really just meant the rtg is like a giant fan and blows away the atmosphere :P. Also I had exams when I answered jm211 so I was still in Kiss-Ass mode.

I take it you're using americium 241 for your radioisotopic thermoelectric generator, but what I do not understand is how an atmosphere is relevant to the power core. I don't believe atmospheric presence affects the Seebeck effect, which your RTG functions from.

Firstly, Thank you for the promotion ,Sir. Secondly ,due to the current instability of the Radioiosotope Thermoelectric Generator (I Know My Science) I am unable to surround the mars rover completly with a atmosphere.
