Well... this is because of how it's made in TPT. For more detailed explanations, ask devs/mods/someone who knows. Maybe that's for convenience, so we can make pressurized tanks with wires/pipes/etc. going through the walls.

I guess you mean what happens in pressure display. Well, TTAN blocks pressure, and sparked TTAN (which isn't considered TTAN by the game) doesn't.
