    @DoritosTaco, yah it's better that way... you can control where the explosion comes from.. @kentakon there are currently round-about 1165 nuclear reactors all over the planet. the ones used in nuclear submarines have humans within 150 metres of them for up to and exeeding 11 months.

    the crew of these vessels actually recieve LESS radiation than somebody on the surface due to the shielding on the reactor and the 400 or so feet of water between them and normal background radiation. and so would the people in this bunker would be perfectly fine.
